The name of this snowshoe hike says it all: Spend a relaxing day on snowshoes and you won't have to worry about anything. The signposted tour is on the Flumser Kleinberg - hidden away, far away from the winter sports hype, a real insider tip among snow fans. Everything you need on this day is included in the carefree package: a cable car ticket, snowshoe equipment for hire and a heavenly, home-made fondue at the Berghotel Schönhalden with a phenomenal view of the snow-covered Churfirsten and Lake Walen. There are two signposted tours to choose from, both of which offer both beginners and experienced snowshoe walkers a spectacular nature experience.

- The fondue can be taken between 11.30 and 20.00. Please reserve a table in the restaurant in advance, otherwise no seat can be guaranteed
- On Sunday the restaurant is closed from 18.00
- In case of storm the cable car does not run, please inform yourself in advance directly at the Berghotel Schönhalden
- Equipment: Winter-proof equipment and good shoes with high shaft as well as headlamp (if available)

Description
The Berghotel Schönhalden is located at 1500 meters above sea, on Flumser Kleinberg. The Schilstal separates Kleinberg from "Flumserberg". The hotel is directly accessible by the gondola lift. The concept of gentle tourism has successfully positioned itself and in all rooms "smoking is prohibited"! From the terrace you have a fantastic view on the Churfirsten and Alvier mountain chain as well as Sarganserland. The Kleinberg is particularly popular with recreationists who want to avoid mass tourism. There is nevertheless an attractive offer for hikers, bikers, paragliders and in winter for snowshoeing tours, ski-toures and winterhikers.
