Nearby is the Heididorf above Maienfeld, the village Bad Ragaz with Tamina Therme, two first-class golf courses, the hiking and snow sports area Pizol or the Tamina gorge. The place is also an ideal starting point for beautiful bike tours. The area is considered a paragliding paradise and is ideal for inline skating, climbing and hiking. As the capital of the Rhaetian Railway, Waldcamping Landquart is an important starting point for railway fans.
